Vintage Tweed Blazer

Sep 27, 2009   Vintage Tweed Blazer blazer review by

It's a must have for this season, although many people compare it to a grandpa's wardrobe I myself think its a classic and such a chic item of clothing to have, remind me of the older days in paris (from pictures) where sailor men would wear them to the seaside or think Chanel or Granny Chic.

I would advise all you chictopians to run to the local thrift/vintage store and grab yourself one as it is quick and easy to wear and update a "normal" outfit. I wear mine with either black leggings or peg leg (tappered) trousers in blacks, greys, navys or taupe, with a loose v-neck white tee or an oversized grandad blose and a knitted thick cardigan in mustard yellow or teal pairing them with brown brogues from Russell and Bromley (they are the best) with my Topshop ribbed socks poking out under le peg leg trousers. The tweed blazer just gives it a more traditional masculine parisian touch.

This is such a classic item that will not only last this season but will run throughout, perfect for breaking the traditional work code or popping into town or walking through le airport lounge!

So hurry before the perfect one is snatched up by another chictopian rival, I know, i'm going back to grab a few more!
