accessories don’t count and it should be something you still wear fairly regularly.
I have a couple pairs of jeans that are about 7 years old.

I have a few vintage dresses that look like they’re from the 50s or 60s but it’s hard to tell. definitely vintage, but not sure from which era. shops should get better at telling us!

I have a couple class t-shirts from 6th grade (7-8 years ago) that I still wear as pajamas or around the house. They’re so soft and worn-in that I don’t think I’d ever be able to throw them away…

In terms of vintage, I have a cashmere sweater, a dress, and a poodle skirt from the ‘50s, but most of my other vintage items are from the ’60s/’70s.

I have two c. 1950s dresses: One, a sheath (in black). The other, a 50s flouncy skirted dress.

A 1940s wool coat from my aunt who lives (and found it) in England.

All the blazers I own were my Mum’s (and Dad’s!) in the early eighties.

I own a pair of brown leather loafers from the 1940s (thanks to Gigi!).

And, I have a cardigan (that I still frequently wear) that I’ve had since I was nine.

I have a beige skirt which I bought 7-8 years ago…and it still fits (well, every now and then..)
And in terms of vintage: I own a gorgeous dress from the 50’s. It’s a bit formal and I couldn’t wear it that much though…

I rarely wear it now, but I have a red t-shirt that my father bought me at a conference when I was 18 months old! It’s a youth size 14/16, so it fits very snugly, but it’s a great vintage tee that says “Some Kids are Exceptionally Great.” I’ve had it for almost 21 years!

Probably around 7 years. I’m 18 now so anything before that doesn’t suit me so well. Even some things from around then are all wrong as my hips are bigger but I have more of a waist so skirts that fitted right then are a little tight to pull on but then when they are on there’s loads of excess fabric round the waist!
I still have accessories and things like that from before then though.

I’ve had this one pair of jeans since 6th grade, I’m a sophomore in college now. They were hugeee on me back then, and I would just wear them over pajama pants when I would go sledding or something. They fit nicely now, and are soo soft and comfy, but full of holes.

I just wore a t-shirt yesterday that was my mom’s. It’s dated 1977. It’s got this cartoon red bird on it and is so thin it is see-through. It’s a great vintage t-shirt that I’ll never part with. :)
