I would go for some sort of vintagey costume, like a 20’s flapper or a 60’s mod… there are tons of opportunities to get really creative.

My friends and I all went as characters from Clue last year – I was Miss Scarlet with the candlestick. The year before I was a pregnant high school cheerleader.

I always like to incorporate facial hair, sluttiness and puns into my Halloween costumes (don’t ask). I’ve been:
Genghis Khan-nie
The Second Amendment (I had big, furry bear arms)
A Freudian Slip (beard, bald wig, glasses, a lace slip)
Baberaham Lincoln
Edgar Allen Ho
Last year I went as the Hiphopopotomus and my friend as the Rhymenoceros

Me and three of my friends are going to be teletubees, of the cute variety. I am going as tinky- winky (the purple one) and I will wear purple shorts, a purple tank top, purple knee socks, and a purple head band with purple pipe cleaner to make a triangle. Then I’ll put duct tape on my belly for the silver TV screen.

As a fan of Parker Posey in “The House of Yes”, you could go as Jackie O when JFK got assassinated with macaroni and bloody brain guts splattered on your shoulder. Or there’s always Jackie Ho…slutty costumes are so dam easy for Halloween. I’m dressing up as a “Furrie” this year because I think they’re freaks…it’s great!

Classic literature characters… Hester Prynne comes to mind first, because creating an “A” for adulteress badge would be badass! Being Karl Lagerfield would be amusing… For myself, I’m probably going to cosplay as one of my favorite manga characters… Nana or Momo or no.1 badass: Sunako Nakahara
